Part of a series of works exploring the idea of comic books (and the techniques used in them) in a 'fine art' approach. Unfortunately, comics often are categorized as a 'lesser art' or a 'novelty' of sorts. My attempt was to explore some of the things that make comics unique (paneling, script, comic mediums, comic inspired images, etc...) with a sense usually reserved for gallery pieces. This particular piece was a private commission.
