This is page 9 of Iconoclast, a self contained twelve issue series created by me. It's an exploration of the idea of the superhero in a modern, geopolitical climate. What would they do? How would modern culture, media and government react? It follows John, a 'hero' frightened of his own power, who has been a hermit in the wilderness for the past 50 years. He is coaxed out by someone willing to finance a new 'super group' and they want him to lead, to teach a new generation of 'heroes', a group of ordinary people (and one alien) who can do extraordinary things, all willing to do the world's most dangerous job (and i don't mean an Alaskan crab fisherman). Not everyone makes it out alive. No one makes it out unchanged.
